There is an interesting Hebrew word, rather root: לעז

The derived words are:

לוֹעֲזי - foreign, of foreign-language

לוֹעֲזִית - foreign language

Some updates

Sorry for silence. Haven't updated the site for a long time, but finally got to work on it.

I did some website work here and there, improved site performance a little, and now starting to work on two next lessons.

It's going to be some explanation about the Hebrew grammar, and I haven't decided yet in which section they will go. But it looks impossible to continue giving the conversational part without explaining somewhat of the grammar.

See you all soon!

P.S.

Almost forgot to mention: I've finally added search to the site!

!חג חנוכה שמח

I was about to write a long article about Chanukah... but day before Chanukah I suddenly got sick - which is no wonder, considering terrible cold here in Chicago. (That's global worming, I guess...)

So, sorry, no updates this holiday season. May I wish you my readers jolly and happy Chanukah!

Will be back soon!

הודו וחג ההודייה - Following the Turkey Day....

It's not assimilation, neither the Iranian nuclear bomb is the real threat on the future of the world Jewry. It's food, and food only which is killing us. Gosh, it was unbelievable... My friends from Boston came over here for three days, and we ate this huge turkey, and then like the turkey was not enough, we had some smoked beef (that I personally smoked for over 5 hours on my backyard), and then it was a lot of turkey stuffing, and coleslaw, and herring, and pumkin pie and all the other good stuff...

Site Newsletter

Sorry for the weird format of the newsletter. I'm trying to get it working, but it continues to send the newsletter with all those strange HTML tags, although the whole HTML thing is supposed to be turned off. I'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible.
